Matt Abrahams, Lecturer, Stanford GSB, 2011-present Matt Abrahams, a renowned communication expert at Stanford, teaches popular classes on strategic communication and effective virtual presenting. Matt also consults for the United Nations and hosts the award-winning podcast "Think Fast, Talk Smart." His new book, "Think Faster, Talk Smarter," provides practical skills for successful spontaneous speaking, complementing his previous book, "Speaking Up without Freaking Out”. | |
Jacek Dabrowski, Head of AI Research at Synerise Bringing a wealth of expertise and innovation to the forefront, Jacek boasts years of applied machine learning experience, positioning him as an expert in the field. Currently leading the AI Research department at Synerise, he spearheads the development of cutting-edge unsupervised behavioral deep learning models on multimodal, heterogeneous web-scale data. | |
Magda Dziewguc, Director of Google Cloud As the Director for Google Cloud, Magda oversees operations in Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, and Hungary. With over two decades of experience, she has held managerial roles in leading tech and telecom companies such as Orange Polska and Plus GSM. Currently, she sits on the Supervisory Boards of BNP Paribas Polish Bank and InPost. Additionally, she is the founder of Digital University, an educational foundation, and the startup Daisy.life. Magda holds degrees from the University of Adam Mickiewicz and the Warsaw School of Economics. | |
Michał Kosinski, Associate Professor of Organizational Behavior, Stanford GSB, 2019–present Professor Kosinski uses computational methods to study how psychological traits like personality influence diverse outcomes, including job performance, person-job fit, consumer preferences, and ideology. His research involves millions of participants and employs machine learning, data mining, and observational studies. | |
Marcin Piatkowski, Professor of Economics, Kozminski University. Lead Economist at the World Bank, Washington DC Marcin Piatkowski is a Professor of Economics at Kozminski University, Warsaw, and Lead Economist at the World Bank, Washington DC. Previously, he served as Chief Economist and Managing Director of PKO BP, the largest bank in Central and Eastern Europe. He also held positions as an economist in the European Department of the IMF, Advisor to the IMF's Executive Director, and Advisor to Poland's Deputy Premier and Minister of Finance. He specializes in improving business environments, fostering innovation, and advocating green development. | |
Ula Sankowska, Co-Founder & Co-CEO at MIM Fertility, AI medical solutions Economist, graduate of Warsaw School of Economics and University College Dublin (UCD), Ireland. Businesswoman of the Year in 2022 and Excellence in AI - Entrepreneur, listed among the TOP100 Most Influential Women by Forbes in 2023. Under her leadership, MIM Fertility has developed bespoke medical AI solutions. | |
Howard E. Wolf, Vice President for Alumni Affairs. President, Stanford Alumni Association Howard E. Wolf, Stanford Alumni Association leader since 2001, holds a psychology degree with distinction from Stanford (1980) and an MBA from Harvard (1985). Prior to his current roles, he excelled as an entrepreneur and business manager in publishing and commercial real estate. Recognized for his dedication, he received the Stanford Associates Outstanding Achievement Award in 2000. |
